BIOGRAFIA
Il progetto musicale Arcadia nasce nel novembre del 2016 dall'unione delle idee del chitarrista e cantante Pietro Lo Prinzi e del bassista e polistrumentista Giuseppe Lavagna.
Iniziano collaborando su YouTube con alcune cover di Y.Malmsteen e dei Dream Theater, ma successivamente decidono d'intraprendere la strada degli inediti.
Registrano quindi il CD/EP "La Casa Dei Sospiri" (gennaio 2017) che fonde in esso nella stesura dei brani e nella composizione musicale un mix di progressive rock, rock psichedelico, atmosfere ambient e rock sperimentale con influenze jazz/funky e darkwave che potrebbe anche essere proposto come ottima colonna sonora per film horror o videogiochi.
Pubblicano il CD Full-Length "Nel Castello Delle Agonie" (febbraio 2017) che mischia atmosfere Horror con sonorità Neoclassiche e Progressive Metal.
Nel 2018 pubblicano l'album "Il potere degli elementi", forse il più sperimentale della loro carriera poichè uniscono sensazioni ambient a riff prog metal e sonorità tanto care ai gruppi psichedelici degli anni 70.
BIOGRAPHY
The musical project Arcadia started in November 2016 by the union of the ideas of guitarist and singer Pietro Lo Prinzi and bassist and multi-instrumentalist Giuseppe Lavagna.
Start collaborating on YouTube with some covers of Y.Malmsteen and Dream Theater, but later decide to undertake the way of the unpublished and original song.
then record the CD "La Casa Dei Sospiri" (January 2017) that blends into it in the writing of songs and musical composition in a mix of progressive rock, psychedelic rock, ambient atmospheres and experimental rock with jazz / funky influences and darkwave which could also It is proposed as a good horror movie soundtrack or videogame.
Publish the full-length CD "Nel Castello Delle Agonie" (February 2017) that mixes Horror atmospheres with Neo-classical sounds and Progressive Metal.
In 2018 they released the album "Il Potere degli Elementi", perhaps the most experimental of their career as they combine ambient feelings with riff prog metal and sound so much to the psychedelic bands of the 70's.
